Assessment Center

Practical testing
with employees

How do employees behave in key moments? Do they display talents even they didn’t know they had? At our Assessment and Development Centers, we simulate key workplace situations that are critical to your company’s success.

Reasons for
Assessment Center
with PAWLIK

The truth is, it’s not how much your employees know that counts – it’s whether or not they can effectively apply that knowledge in practical situations. In our Assessment Center, we observe the behavior of individuals in various situations and thereby gain a distinct image of the specific areas in which they excel and those in which they’re in need of improvement. We’re able to identify and tap into previously undiscovered talents and inner resources, which you and your employees can then put to work to benefit your company.

All participants also undergo a personality analysis at PAWLIK that provides insight into their existing skills and any potentially undiscovered talent. Indeed, above and beyond the skills examined at the Assessment Center, there are usually a number of other areas of growth potential.

Individual skills profiles

We determine each participant’s current skill level and measure those findings against the requirements of the specific position.

Assessments and recommendations for development

Drawing on the results of the Assessment Center, we define concrete recommendations for personnel development, employee leadership and team building. Each assessment shows you how to best support employees on the job.

People make companies successful.
That is why we focus on the individuality of every single employee. How?

How we Work

We create workplace simulations in which participants are presented with particular tasks. Each task has been identified in advance as being either critical to that specific position or in need of further development. The candidates are then observed and evaluated as they tackle a series of challenges. This ultimately provides us with a differentiated profile of their abilities and skills.

The following questions are at the core of our work: How effectively are individuals able to prioritize tasks when placed under pressure? How do they deal with customers and/or employees in simulated conflict situations during role play scenarios? We have both internal and external observers create their own picture of the candidate’s behavior, whereby we train the internal observers in advance. At the end of the Assessment Center day, we compile the assessments and generate a single report for the client and, if necessary, gather all participants for feedback discussions designed to foster further development.

Our solutions

We adapt our solution sets to fit your company’s individual needs. Whether we recommend a package of individual, group or orientation assessments – we’re committed to getting your employees to the point where they can achieve sustainable success in their positions.

Individual Assessment Center

When it comes to internal personnel development for key corporate positions, we will always recommend individual assessments. In such cases, it is essential that we not only assess a person’s behavior, but to see it in terms of their potential as well. This is why we carry out an online potential analysis before the individual attends the Assessment Center. Our scientific method helps us gain a holistic picture of the person’s personality.

Group Assessment Center

Group assessments help you build teams that are best suited to the realities of your workplace. All participants first complete our online potential analysis, which we use to compare their personality with the specific job profile and corporate culture.

At the Assessment Center, we integrate skills exercises and group-dynamic elements tailored specifically to your company. And when needed, Assessment Center measures can be expanded to include outdoor activities and cognitive aptitude tests.

Orientation Assessment Center

Right after completing their education, many talented graduates have no idea which professional path to take. This life-defining decision should be made carefully and consciously. The Orientation Assessment Center helps graduates bring their study and career choice into line with their personality structure and individual skills. In order to achieve this, participants undergo our online potential analysis and other tests of their abilities. We draw on these results to deliver specific recommendations, which we then discuss in a personal orientation interview.

Alongside the professional qualifications and many years of career experience held by our consultants in leadership, sales, and consulting positions, all PAWLIK consultants possess sound knowledge for the application of a Prof. Julius Kuhl potential analysis. We are one of the few consultancies in Germany that are entitled to apply this potential analysis.

“What are the advantages of our Assessment Center over others? The most important and valuable aspect for our clients lies in how we combine it with the potential analysis. We not only assess behavior in critical situations, but also identify the candidate’s personal motivations which underpin his behavior, as a means of completing the overall picture.”
