EXECUTIVE
COACHING

SUCCESS
TAKES TRUST

Despite the use of advanced management methods, managers sometimes miss their targets, and are constantly under pressure, which is why it is important to engage with an executive coach. At PAWLIK, we meet with your managers to discuss their needs and create common solutions.

Reasons for
Executive
Coaching
with PAWLIK

As executive managers often shoulder huge responsibility for a wide variety of areas, they inevitably face challenges for which their experience has not adequately prepared them. To compound the problem, the elevated nature of and responsibilities that come with the position mean that executives often have no one on their own level to discuss their issues with. Executive Coaching provides impartial and trustworthy advice on how to deal with these challenging situations. Our executive coaches are experienced leadership specialists who bring a variety of concepts and qualified training approaches to the table to provide support on an executive level.

Professional Sparring

In an occupational context, people often prefer to handle issues themselves. Yet the professional and personal needs and issues facing executives can prove easier to address with the help of an impartial, experienced coach. A professional view from outside, guidance regarding reflection, and a deeper awareness can help boost the coachee’s confidence. Key decisions are made on much firmer grounds.

Cutting-edge leadership skills

When under stress, we often lose the ability to engage with other people; the natural reaction is to only do what has to be done and to shut everything else out. For managers, this can be quite damaging, as it flies in the face of what is expected from modern, forward-looking leadership. Executives must be alert to the state of mind and interests of stakeholders so they can pick up on new ideas and potential without losing key employees. Our coaches are there to help.

The human factor

Work-life balance is just a thing for specialist staff or Generation Y? Absolutely not. A manager’s work is frequently time-consuming and energy-sapping, and a manager typically takes his work home with him. The manager’s family and immediate circle as well as his personal needs need to adapt to the extreme pressure of his job.

People make companies successful.
That is why we focus on the individuality of every single employee. How?

How We Work

Individuality and trust lie at the heart of our executive coaching. Tailored solutions are created from the results of our advanced personality analyses. We have developed scan.premium for managers, an analysis tool which identifies the deep-seated motivations and behavioral preferences of the person in question. These are then discussed in detail during feedback meetings. Why do certain issues appear intractable? Why do you start to doubt some of the decisions you make? These are the types of questions that we can quickly answer by taking a proper look at personalities, and integrating this into the executive coaching process.

We do everything we can to fit in with your hectic schedule, whether that means meeting with you on a train or traveling to distant towns and cities. Thanks to this flexibility, we’re always on the ball. A confidential peer-to-peer meeting allows us to go right to the heart of the critical issues, and to ensure that no stone is left unturned. That is how we help you progress both professional and personally.

Our solutions

The reasons for using executive coaching are many. How to behave when it comes to change processes, how to overcome personal obstacles, or how to retain your social skills in the face of stress? Depending on your goals, we tailor our executive coaching to your needs and challenges.

Out of the Box Thinking

In highly demanding positions, it is especially important to stand back from the everyday routine once in a while, and to reflect on your current situation and future goals. Are you on the right track to achieve the goals set by the company? What is preventing you from achieving these goals? Can interpersonal intelligence be used to help achieve them? These and other questions are discussed with clients as part of our “Out of the Box Thinking” session, which lasts six hours and includes lunch.

Conflict coaching and crisis management

Conflicts and crises demand professional self-control. In critical situations, managers should be aware of their own capacity to exacerbate conflict. All the more important then to know and master the mechanisms used to defuse critical situations and lead to their successful resolution. We offer ad hoc advice to clients in a serious conflict situation. To prevent such situations, we recommend that managers participate in our executive coaching sessions.

Executive and self-coaching: sparring during the financial year

In these times of VUCA, of a constantly changing, uncertain business environment, regular sparring can provide invaluable guidance. Reflecting on challenging leadership situations with an experienced executive coach gives you the confidence to step up, make bold decisions, and follow new paths. We begin with the scan.premium potential analysis tool, which shines a light on your motivation, behavioral preferences, and stress management, and creates the ideal platform for sustainable self-coaching. We will coach you for 10 half-day sessions over a period of one year. The aim is to help you adapt quicker to changing circumstances by utilizing your strengths and developing your individual potential.

Alongside the professional qualifications and many years of career experience held by our consultants in leadership, sales, and consulting positions, all PAWLIK consultants possess sound knowledge for the application of a Prof. Julius Kuhl potential analysis. We are one of the few consultancies in Germany that are entitled to apply this potential analysis.

Experience, Expertise, and System

Katrin Sasse

As a manager at a family company and a medium-sized enterprise connected to a corporate group, Katrin Kiggen realized that an individual’s personality is a critical success factor in any organization.
